Anne-Wies van Oosten, DipWSET and Registervinoloog, is a Dutch wine and food journalist, currently living in Romania. In 2022 she graduated as Weinakademiker with her thesis on the “Development and Future of Wine Tourism in Transylvania”.
She spends part of the year in her house in Transylvania, from where she visits and consults Romanian wineries and importers. For the other part, she travels the world to visit wineries and wine and food events worldwide and to participate as a judge in local and international wine competitions.
On a daily basis she passionately shares her insights and knowledge on wine and food on her own website anne-wies.nl and as guest writer on other platforms. Anne-Wies is very active on social media on which, amongst others, she shares her articles.
