For the next of the Circle’s Let’s talk about… webinars we are delighted to welcome back Greg, inventor and founder of Coravin. As usual, the webinar is on a Tuesday at 5pm UK time, with advance registration.

The Coravin preservation system uses a non-coring needle to pass through the cork of a sealed bottle, allowing small amounts of wine to be poured without damage to what remains – an invaluable aid particularly for those needing to taste multiple wines. Greg will share the story of Coravin’s evolution, featuring the first-ever prototypes – still functional today – and highlighting key milestones.

He’ll explore how global markets have adopted Coravin, from fine-dining establishments to increasingly popular at-home wine-by-the-glass cellars. He will also discuss his perspective on industry trends, such as sustainability and the rising demand for premium wines, and how these shifts are shaping the future of wine technology.

Greg is uniquely placed to explain everything about Coravin, the result of a convergence of his passion for wine with engineering degrees and a successful career in medical technologies.
