Regional masterclasses on the Hunter Valley, the Orange region and ‘The Path Less Trodden’ – producers experimenting with new varieties & styles.
Masterclass seats limited.
11.00-11.40am Masterclass 1: ‘The Path Less Trodden’
Some NSW wine regions recently started to turn heads. These new areas are early in their journey and still experimenting with grape varieties and wine styles to find their true calling.
1pm-1.40pm Masterclass 2: ‘Hunter Valley Semillon & Chardonnay’
Hunter Valley Semillon is otherworldly and unquestionably unique. Grown on the alluvial flats surrounding the Hunter River, Semillon from this region is almost unfathomably ageworthy.
3.15-3.55pm Masterclass 3: ‘Hunter Valley Shiraz’
A place where the soil dates back 280 million years, and the Shiraz vines are among the oldest on the planet. There’s a personality to the famously silken Hunter Valley Shiraz.
