Plaimont Producteurs
February 7, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 8:30 pm
Plaimont Producteurs are coming to London on Wednesday 7th February to show their wines available in the UK, as well as their work with long-lost ancient grape varieties of Southwest France for the first time in London. These grape varieties were discovered on a prephylloxera plot in Saint-Mont, and are currently being vinified and propagated by young technical coordinator Nadine Raymond, who will be on hand to explain the grape varieties and their potential.
10am: Open pour tasting begins, continues until 6pm
3pm: Dr Jamie Goode, Nadine Raymond and Olivier-Bourdet Pees will present a masterclass about these grapes, prephylloxera vines and a prephylloxera cuvée, exploring the heritage of the area
5pm: Christine Cabri, head winemaker of Plaimont, will present a masterclass on the grape varieties of SW France, and you will have the opportunity for the first time ever to put your blending skills to the test with Gros Manseng, Petit Courbu and the highly unique Arrufiac
6.30pm – 8.30pm: Drinks and canapés! Please do stay after the tasting and enjoy some drinks and canapés with the Plaimont team
