Nathalie Spielmann (PhD) is professor of marketing and Director of the MSc Wine & Gastronomy at NEOMA Business School in Reims France. Prior to becoming an academic, she was an advertising executive in Montreal, Canada while also tending a popular blog on all things food and wine, and writing occasional pieces on nostalgic food experiences and student budget options for Nightlife, a lifestyle magazine.
When she’s not writing academic articles on consumer psychology, wine consumption patterns, or terroir, she is busy studying wine. She recently completed her WSET Diploma as well as earned the title of Vinitaly Italian Wine Ambassador. At all other moments, she can be found scouring the cellars of Champagne, teaching her students about the various wine styles the world has to offer, traveling to wine regions to better understand and report on wine practices, or writing creative fiction short stories.
